Pay 2000 LP; Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using 2 monsters you control as Fusion Materials. Neither player can activate cards or effects in response to this card's activation. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 Fusion Monster that was Fusion Summoned with this card's effect; Special Summon all the Fusion Materials used for its Fusion Summon from your GY, but change their ATK/DEF to 0, also they have their effects negated.
Ultra Polymerization — Power Evaluation
Final Score: 61 ± 6 · Confidence: Medium
- Intrinsic: 57.1 · Deck: 60.3 · Meta: provisional
- Primary role: Combo enabler · Secondary: Extender, Recovery/Recursion
Why it scores here
Ultra Polymerization earns its points from reliability of conversion, not from stats: with two monsters already on board it turns them into any legal Fusion Monster, and because neither player can activate cards or effects in response to its activation, the classic Ash Blossom / on-activation negation does not stop it. Its GY banish effect then refunds every material used as 0-ATK, effect-negated bodies, which is a genuine multi-body refuel for the cost of one card. What caps the score is access and setup: it is a non-archetype Normal Spell with no evidenced search route, run as a single copy (avg 1.1 copies; 375/400 decks at exactly 1), and it needs two bodies in play first, so it is an extender/payoff rather than a starter. Deck evidence is strong and consistent (Predaplant-dominant, Dragostapelia as an 83.2% partner), but combo evidence is a single untagged appearance, so the line's practical ceiling is only weakly measured; the 2000 LP payment and the effect-negated revival keep it out of the top tier.
Axis scores
| Axis | Score | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Accessibility | 40 | Normal Spell with no archetype membership and no evidenced search route, run as a 1-of (avg 1.1 copies, 375/400 decks at 1), so it must be hard-drawn (observed). |
| Combo & Conversion | 55 | Converts two monsters you control into any legal Fusion Monster behind an unrespondable activation; the single recorded combo shows 4 end monsters and +7 net card advantage, yet it is never recorded as a starter (observed). |
| Resource Economy | 58 | Pays 2000 LP up front, but the GY banish effect Special Summons back every Fusion Material used, turning one card into several bodies (verified). |
| Effect & Interaction | 45 | The card itself brings no disruption; its interaction value is the clause stating neither player can activate cards or effects in response to its activation, plus whatever negate the chosen Fusion (e.g. Predaplant Dragostapelia) carries (verified). |
| Material Utility | 35 | Not a body itself, but it produces Fusion material and its GY effect converts itself into 0-ATK, effect-negated revival bodies usable only as Link/Xyz material (inferred). |
| Resilience & Flexibility | 62 | Operates from the field and then again from the GY, and cannot be responded to on activation, so the common on-activation interrupt does not stop the play (verified). |
| Deck-Building Efficiency | 62 | One slot, no locks, no garnet, and extra copies are unnecessary (avg 1.1 copies across 400 decks); only the 2000 LP and the need for two on-board bodies are real costs (observed). |
Calculation
Weight profile: 0.70 Combo enabler + 0.15 Extender + 0.15 Recovery/Recursion. Intrinsic ≈ 57.1, Deck ≈ 60.3, Meta = provisional. Modifiers: Exceptional compactness / splashability (2). Final formula: 0.40*Intrinsic + 0.60*Deck
Strengths
- Activation cannot be responded to, dodging Ash Blossom and other on-activation negation
- Turns two on-board bodies into any legal Fusion Monster, notably Predaplant Dragostapelia / Chimerafflesia
- GY banish effect Special Summons all materials used back as 0-ATK bodies for further Link/Xyz plays
- Extremely cheap deck cost: one slot, no locks, extra copies unnecessary
- Played across 62 distinct archetypes with consistent Predaplant core usage
Weaknesses
- Requires two monsters already on the field, so it is not a starter
- 2000 LP payment is a real cost in grind games
- No archetype membership and no evidenced search route; must be drawn as a 1-of
- Revived materials are 0 ATK/DEF with effects negated, so they are material only
- Provides no disruption on its own; interaction depends on the chosen Fusion Monster
Counters / choke points
- Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion (negates the GY banish effect)
- D.D. Crow / banishing the Fusion target or materials to blank the revival
- Macro Cosmos / Dimension Shifter effects that keep materials out of the GY
- Generic monster removal or a board wipe after the Fusion lands
- LP pressure that punishes the 2000 LP payment
- Effect negation aimed at the Fusion Monster itself (e.g. Effect Veiler on Predaplant Dragostapelia)
Best use
Fusion enabler / recursion tech for decks already fielding two monsters. Decks: Predaplant, Branded, Horus. Suggested copies: 1.
Evidence & gaps
- Verified: Pay 2000 LP; Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from the Extra Deck using 2 monsters you control as Fusion Materials; Neither player can activate cards or effects in response to this card's activation; GY effect: banish this card, target a Fusion Monster Fusion Summoned with this card's effect, Special Summon all its Fusion Materials from the GY with ATK/DEF 0 and effects negated; 400/400 sampled decks run it in the Main Deck, average 1.1 copies (375 decks at exactly 1); No banlist token in the evidence pack; legality assumed unlimited at 3 copies
- Observed: Predaplant archetype decks dominate the sample (39% on the largest id plus smaller Predaplant ids), with Branded 4.2%, Horus 4%, Heroic 2.2%, Ragnaraika 1.8%, Therions 1.5%, Azamina 1.5%; Top partners: Predaplant Dragostapelia 83.2%, Ophrys Scorpio 82.8%, Darlingtonia Cobra 82.2%, Ambulomelides 81.2%, Super Polymerization 77.5%; Combos evidence: 1 appearance, as_starter 0%, as_searched 0%, as_material 0%, as_payoff 0%, avg_power_index 100 with 4 end monsters and +7 net card advantage; 62 distinct archetypes run the card, indicating broad, low-commitment usage
- Inferred: With no archetype membership and no evidenced search route, access depends on hard-drawing the 1-of; The unrespondable activation clause makes on-activation negation such as Ash Blossom ineffective against it; 0-ATK, effect-negated revived materials are best converted into Link/Xyz material rather than used for their effects; Deckbuilding cost is low: no lock, no garnet, and a second or third copy is unnecessary
- Data gaps: no banlist token — assumed 3 copies (unlimited) no usage statistics (StatisticsCard) — archetype inclusion % inferred from the 400-deck sample only only 1 combo appearance with an empty role_in_combo, so the card's practical combo role is weakly measured no searcher/route data confirming how the card is found in hand
